James Kenneth McManus (born September 24, 1921 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) was a journalist and sportscaster who was best known for hosting the TV program, “ABC's Wide World of Sports” in 1961 through 1998. Jim died on June 7, 2008 and his death was because of natural causes. He died at age 86.
