Jimmy Buffett (born December 25th, 1946 in Pascagoula, Mississippi) was a Singer-Songwriter who was best known for his song "Margaritaville" which has become an American icon. Jimmy died on September 1st, 2023. His cause of death was reportedly lymphoma which appeared after several years of skin cancer. The announcement simply said "Jimmy passed away peacefully on the night of September 1st surrounded by his family, friends, music and dogs". He was 76 years old when he passed away.
