Jimmy Greaves (born February 20th, 1940 in London, England) was a Footballer who was best known for being the the highest goalscorer in the history of English football. Jimmy died on September 19th, 2021 and his tragic death was possibly because of old age. He was 81 years old.

"Jimmy Greaves was born on October 26, 1936 in London, England. Greaves played fullback for Tottenham Hotspur football club from 1958 to 1962 and then captained the side from 1962 to 1966. On July 10, 1966, Greaves scored the equalizer in the 61st minute of a 1-1 draw against Liverpool in the 1966 English League Cup Final. The match went to a penalty shootout, but Greaves' header was saved by Liverpool goalkeeper Jurgen Klinsmann. On May 9, 1972, Greaves was found dead in his hotel room in Munich, Germany after being Tasered by police. (V)"
