Joan Kennedy (born September 2nd, 1936 in Bronx, New York) was an Socialite who was best known for being the first wife of American Senator Ted Kennedy. Joan died on October 23rd, 2025 (TBV) and her death was possibly because of the complications from old age. She was 89.

She served as a secretary to then-Senator Ted Kennedy and was elected to the House of Representatives in 1998. She was second lady of the United States from 2003 to 2009 and served as the chairwoman of the United States Senatorial Campaign Committee from 2006 to 2009.
