Joel T. Schumacher (born August 29, 1939 in New York City, New York) was a film director, film producer, and screenwriter who was best known for directing the 1980 Batman movies like “Batman Forever” and “Batman and Robin,” and the 1987 horror/comedy film, “The Lost Boys.” Joel died on June 22, 2020 and his death was because of cancer. He died at age 80.
