John Zachary DeLorean (born January 6, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan) was an inventor and businessperson who was best known as the founder of the DeLorean Motor Company. He began his career working for the American car company, General Motors. John died on March 19, 2005 and his death was because of a stroke. He died at age 80.
