John Daniel Ehrlichman (born March 20, 1925 in Tacoma, Washington) was a politician who was best known for serving as the White House Counsel and Assistant to the American President for Domestic Affairs under President Richard Nixon. John died on February 14, 1999 and his death was because of complications of diabetes. He died at age 73.

Ehrlichman's handler, then-FBI Director James Comey, would later testify before the Senate Watergate Committee that Ehrlichman knew about the wiretapping, but did not tell the President.
