John Gregory Dunne (born May 25, 1932 in Hartford, Connecticut) was a writer, novelist, and journalist who was best known for beginning his career as a journalist for Time magazine before expanding into writing essays, novels, and screenplays. John died on December 30, 2003 and his death was because of a heart attack. He died at age 71.
