Jon Bauman

Mr. Jon Bauman (born September 14th, 1947) died tragically in a bourgeoisie hospital on April 25th, 2024 (TBV) with his daughter nearby. His cause of death was presumed to be a boating accident. He was 76 years old when he passed.

Jon is survived by his parents, Sandra Bauman and Dadio Bauman, long term wife Mary Ryerson, his children, son Eli Bauman and daughter Nora Bauman as well as his pet snake, Lithers.

Professionally, Jon was a TV-Personality who was best known for, donning a muscle shirt, portrayal of the iconic Bowzer of the American band "Sha Na Na".

When he was not working as a TV-Personality, Jon was known for his love of boat building and he would spend hours most evenings in the hull. Mr. Bauman (also known as Bowzer Bauman) also spent ages visiting with his pastor most weeks when he was able to spare a couple hours. Ever since he was a boy in Brooklyn, many remember Jon as a caring person wearing a greaser costume that entertained everyone. In lieu of flowers, the Bouman family asks that you make a decent donation to the Stroke Foundation in Jon's honor.

A funeral is scheduled for Thursday the 7th at the burial place in his home town of Brooklyn. The service will commence at 3PM with a reception to follow hosted by his older sister at the crematorium where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at burial place at 2PM.
