Joseph Rudyard Kipling (born December 30, 1865 in Mumbai, India) was a novelist, writer, and poet who was best known for writing “the Jungle Book” duology, “Kim,” the “Just So Stories” and many short stories including "The Man Who Would Be King.” Rudyard died on January 18, 1936 and his death was because of a perforated duodenal stomach ulcer. He died at age 70.
