June Carter Cash (born June 23rd, 1929 in Maces Spring, Virginia) was a singer-songwriter, TV actress, and dancer who was best known for joining the road show of famed country singer Johnny Cash and for co-writing her best-known song, “Ring of Fire.” June died on May 15, 2003 and his death was reportedly due to complications from heart-valve replacement surgery. She died at age 73.
