Sandra "Sandy" Mellish (Née McNeil): Kate Nelligan’s mother Josephine(Jay) was my elementary school teacher at St.Patrick’s Catholic School in London Ontario. She was a teacher who gave encouragement always. She was so kind, she took me home and bought me dresses and, shoes and hats for church. I will never forget her kindness.
