Katharine Houghton Hepburn (born May 12, 1907 in Hartford, Connecticut) was a film actress who was best known for being named one of the greatest female stars of Classic Hollywood cinema and for her" headstrong independence, spirited personality and outspokenness", regularly playing strong-willed, dominant, and sophisticated women. Her screen persona often matched her public image. Katharine died on June 29, 2003 and her death was because of cardiac arrest. She died at age 96.
