Keiko the Orca (born September 24, 1976 in Iceland, Iceland) was an animal actor who was best known for portraying the lead character, Willy in the 1993 film, “Free Willy.” Keiko died on December 12, 2003 and his death was reportedly because of pneumonia. He died at age 27
