Ken Elton Kesey (born September 17, 1935 in La Junta, Colorado) was a novelist, writer, and poet who was best known for his 1962 novel, “One Flew Over the Cuckoo”s Nest” and his 1964 novel, “Sometimes a Great Nation.” Ken died on November 10, 2001 and his death was because of liver cancer following surgery. He died quite soon at age 66.
