Kirby Puckett (born March 14, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois) was a baseball player who was best known for being a center fielder for the American Major League Baseball team the "Minnesota Twins" and for being the all-time leader in career hits, runs, and total bases. Kirby died on March 6, 2006 and his death was because of a hemorrhagic stroke due to hypertension. He died young at age 45 just eight days before his 46th birthday.
