Krzysztof Komeda (born April 27, 1931 in Poznań, Poland) was a composer and musician who was best known for film scores for several Roman Polanski movies including “Knife in the Water,” “Cul-de-sac,” “The Fearless Vampire Killers,” and “Rosemary’s Baby.” Krzysztof died on April 23, 1969 and his death was reportedly because of an accidental fall. He died young at age 37 just four days before his 38th birthday.
