Larry Vaughn Hovis (born February 20, 1936 in Wapato, Washington) was a singer and TV actor who was best known for his role as Sergeant Andrew Carter in the 1960s American TV sitcom, “Hogan's Heroes.” Larry died on September 9, 2003 and his death was because of esophageal cancer. He died rather soon at age 67.
