Lee Falk (born April 28, 1911 in St. Louis, Missouri) was a cartoonist, writer, and theatrical producer who was best known for being the creator of comic charactrs, "Mandrake the Magician" and the DC universe hero “The Phantom.” Lee died on March 13, 1999 and his death was because of congestive heart failure. He died at age 87.
