Leon Marcus Uris (born August 3, 1924 in Baltimore, Maryland) was an author who was best known for writing many bestselling historical fiction books including the 1958 book, “Exodus” and the 1976 book, “Trinity.” Leon died on June 21, 2003 and his death was the result of kidney failure. He died at the age of 78.
