Leymah Gbowee (born February 1st, 1972 in Central, Liberia) was an Activist who was best known for heading up the "Women of Liberia Mass Action for Peace" movement. Leymah died on April 20th, 2024 (TBV) and her death was possibly because of diabetes. She was 52 years old.
