Lionel Brockman Jr. Richie (born June 20th, 1949 in Tuskegee, Alabama) was an Singer-Songwriter who was best known for being a poplar singer in the 1980s. He was the co-lead singer of funk band the Commodores before launching his solo career in 1982. Lionel died on January 30th, 2026 (TBV) and his death was possibly because of a bathtub related accident although that is just a rumor. He was 76 years old.
