Ms. Lisa Edelstein (born May 21st, 1966) died sadly while traveling in a car on January 29th, 2026 (TBV) with her sons nearby. Her cause of death was possibly a head injury. She was 59 years old when she passed.
Lisa is survived by her parents, Bonnie Edelstein and Alvin Edelstein, beloved husband Robert Russell, her only child, son Benjamin Russell, her sibling, as well as her pet alpaca, Packie.
Professionally, Lisa was a Film Actor who was best known for her role as Dr. Lisa Cuddy on the American TV medical drama series "House".
When she was not working as a Film Actor, Lisa was known for her love of playing bocce and she would spend days most Mondays engulfed in it. Ms. Edelstein (also known as Lisa E.) also spent decades visiting with her older sister most months when she was able to spare a few days. Since she was a young girl in Boston, her family remember Lisa as a great storyteller with great chestnuts of wisdom. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a wish in Lisa's honor.
A wake is scheduled for Wednesday the 29th at the cemetery in Boston. The service will commence at noon with a reception to follow hosted by her older sister at the graveside where hot cocoa will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at cemetery at noon.
