Lisa Henson

Ms. Lisa Henson (born May 9th, 1960 as "Lisa Marie Henson") died peacefully on her driveway on January 14th, 2025 (TBV) with her son and daughter nearby. Her cause of death was likely because of a tire fire. She was 64 years old when she passed.

Lisa is survived by her parents, Jane Henson and Jim Henson, beloved husband Dave Pressler, her children, son Julian Otis and daughter Ginger Otis, her siblings, brothers Brian Henson, John Henson, sisters Cheryl Henson and Heather Henson as well as her pet fish, Buttons.

Professionally, Lisa was a Film Producer who was best known for her work as the CEO of The Jim Henson Company.

When she was not working as a Film Producer, Lisa was known for her love of armature photography and she would spend days most Mondays admiring it. Ms. Henson (the deceased) also spent days visiting with her older sister most Thursdays when she was able to spare a given number of days. Ever since she was a girl in Westchester County, many remember Lisa as a crackpot with wonderful books that shocked everyone.

A sepulture is scheduled for Friday the 17th at the burial place in Westchester County. The service will commence at noon with a reception to follow hosted by her older sister at the funeral home where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at burial place at 10AM.
