Lisa Nicole Lopes (born May 27, 1971 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) was a rapper and singer who was best known for being a member of the R&B girl group called “TLC.” Lisa died on April 25, 2002 and her death was because of an accident where, while she was driving, she swerved to avoid a truck then sharply to the left as she tried to avoid an oncoming car. Then the vehicle rolled several times after hitting two trees, throwing Lisa and three others out of the windows, and finally coming to rest in a ditch at the side of the road. She died very young at just 30 years old.
