Lyon Himan Green (born February 12th, 1915 in Ottawa, Ontario) was a TV Actor who was best known for playing Ben Cartwright on the american television series "Bonanza". Lorne died on September 11th, 1987 and the age of 72. His death was reportedly because of pneumonia.
