Luise Rainer (born January 12, 1910 in Düsseldorf, Germany) was a film actress who was best known for being the first thespian to win multiple Academy Awards and the first to win the awards in back-to-back years. Luise died on December 30, 2014 and her death was because of pneumonia. She died at the old age of 104 just thirteen days before her 105th birthday.
