Professionally, Lyman was a Film Actor who was best known for his role as Ferris Bueller's father in the popular American cult film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off".

When he was not working as a Film Actor, Lyman was known for his love of volunteering and he would spend a jiffy most weeks practicing. Mr. Ward (the deceased) also spent ages visiting with his older sister most Mondays when he was able to spare a few a jiffy. Ever since he was a boy in Saint John, many remember Lyman as a jerk with entertaining jokes that engrossed everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a cash donation to the Heart Foundation in Lyman's honor.

A somber party is scheduled for Monday the 2nd at the church in Saint John. The service will commence at 9AM with a reception at the burial place where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at church at 9AM.
