Majel Barrett-Roddenberry (born February 23, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio) was a TV actress, film actress, and film producer who was best known for roles of Nurse Christine Chapel in the original "Star Trek" series, Lwaxana Troi on “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” and “The Next Generation,” and was the voice of the ship’s computer throughout the Star Trek franchise. Majel died on December 18, 2008 and her death was because of leukemia. She died at age 76.
