Margaret Avery (born January 20th, 1944 in Mangum, Oklahoma) was a Film Actress who was best known for appearing in a few comedic movies. She is probably most famous for her role as Shug Avery in the American drama film "The Color Purple". Margaret died on April 19th, 2024 (TBV) and her death was probably cased by natural causes. She was reportedly 80 years old.
