Mark Harmon

Mr. Mark Harmon (born September 2nd, 1951 as "Thomas Mark Harmon") died quietly in a local hospital on December 5th, 2024 (TBV) with his wife Pam at his bedside. His cause of death was presumed to be a low flying plane crash. He was 73 years old when he passed.

Thomas is survived by his parents, Elyse Knox and Tom Harmon, wife Pam Dawber, his children, sons Sean Harmon and Ty Christian Harmon, his siblings, sisters Kristin Nelson and Kelly Harmon as well as his pet dog, Chester.

Professionally, Thomas was a TV-Actor who was best known for his lovely role as Leroy Jethro Gibbs in the American TV series "NCIS." and for playing Dr. Robert Caldwell on "St. Elsewhere".

When he was not diligently working as a TV-Actor, Mark was known for his love of playing chess and he would spend Sundays admiring his king. Mr. Harmon (the deceased) also spent days visiting with his old friend most weeks when he was able to spare a jiffy. Ever since he was a boy in Burbank, many remember Thomas as the kooky kid with wonderful chestnuts of wisdom that thrilled everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a tax free donation to the Aids Fund in Thomas's honor.

A quiet funeral is scheduled for Friday the 9th of the month at the burial place in Burbank. The service will commence at noon with a reception to follow hosted by his brother at the chapel where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at burial place at 10AM.

Quotable Quotes:

"If I can't joke about imminent death, then I might as well just resign."

"I'm in the business to push it. I'm not likely to be attracted to characters I've already done. I have to be almost frightened by the possibility of taking it on. Over the years I realize I must enjoy walking that edge, I keep doing it. It's why I like what I do. The only other job I've ever had that provides that time in the morning where you're going to work and you can't wait to get there and the sun's rising and you're moving toward something you look forward to getting up and doing every day was being a carpenter. And it was because you're doing something different every day." (IMDB)

"People will like you for the wrong reasons your entire life, even if you don't have a megaphone and a dancing monkey."

"We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths."

"I only regret that I have but one life to give for my country."

"Thomas Harmon was an American known for his good looks and for publishing an unfounded rumor that his hair was fake. Details of Thomas Harmon's life and death are unavailable. (V)"
