Ms. Markie Post (born November 4th, 1950 as "Marjorie Armstrong Post") died in hospital on August 7th, 2021 with her two lovely daughters present. Her cause of death was due to an unspecified form of Cancer. She was 70 years old when she passed.
Markie is survived by her parents, Marylee Post and Richard F. Post, long term husband Michael A. Ross, her two daughters, and her two sibling.
Professionally, Markie was a TV-Actress who was best known for her wonderful role as public defender Christine Sullivan on the American TV sitcom "Night Court".
When she was not working as a TV-Actress, Markie was known for her love of knitting and she would spend hours most evenings honing her crafting skills. Ms. Post (the deceased) also spent weeks visiting with her oldest friend most Saturdays when she was able to spare a quantity of seconds. Ever since she was a girl in Palo Alto, many remember Markie as a funny character with funny anecdotes that shocked everyone. In lieu of flowers, Ms. Post's family asks that you make a heartfelt donation to the The Salvation Army in Markie's honor.
A funeral is scheduled for Thursday the 22nd at the graveside in Palo Alto. The service will commence at 11AM with a reception to follow hosted by her father at the cemetery where refreshments will be consumed. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at graveside at 3PM.
