Marlee Matlin

Ms. Marlee Matlin (born August 24th, 1965 as "Marlee Beth Matlin") died randomly at a pick-nick on January 29th, 2026 (TBV) with her older daughter in attendance. Her cause of death was presumed to be an accident playing party games in the park. She was 60 years old when she passed.

Marlee is survived by her parents, Libby Matlin and Donald Matlin, long term husband Kevin Grandalski, her children, sons Brandon Grandalski, Tyler Grandalski, daughters Sarah Grandalski and Isabelle Grandalski, her siblings, brothers Eric Matlin and Marc Matlin as well as her pet dog, Buttons.

Professionally, Marlee was a Film-Actress who was best known for her award winning role in the movie "Children of a Lesser God".

When she was not working as a Film-Actress, Marlee was known for her love of playing chess and she would spend most Tuesdays playing with her rook. Ms. Matlin (the deceased) also spent weeks visiting with her daughter most Saturdays when she was able to spare a small number of decades. Ever since she was a girl in Morton Grove, many remember Marlee as a crackpot with great chestnuts of wisdom that annoyed everyone. In lieu of flowers or other trinkets, her family asks that you make a small donation to the Aids Fund in Marlee's honor.

A funeral is scheduled for Tuesday the 5th at the undertaker's in Morton Grove. The service will commence at 10AM with a reception to follow hosted by her rabbi at the crematorium where refreshments will be served. All visitors and fans are welcome to the visitation to be held at undertaker's at noon.
