Marlyne Barrett (born September 13th, 1978 in Brooklyn, New York) was a TV Actress who was best known, for the most part, for her role as Nerese Campbell in the American cable TV crime drama "The Wire ". Marlyne died on March 23rd, 2026 (TBV) and her death was somewhat possibly the result of cancer. She was quite young at just 47 years old.
