Mary Frann (born February 27, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri) was a TV actress, film actress and stage actress who was best known for her most iconic role as Bob Newhart’s wife, Joanna Loudon on the 1982-1990 American TV sitcom, “Newhart.” Mary died on September 23, 1998 and her death was reportedly because of a heart attack. She died too soon at age 55.
