Mr. Mathieu Kassovitz (born August 3rd, 1967) died violently in a medical facility on March 28th, 2024 (TBV) with his daughter at his side. His cause of death was presumed to be pneumonia. He was 56 years old when he passed.
Mathieu is survived by his parents, Chantal Rémy and Peter Kassovitz, beloved wife Julie Mauduech, his only child, daughter Carmen Kassovitz as well as his pet partridge, Sophie.
Professionally, Mathieu was a Film Director who was best known for his work making compelling movies.
When he was not working as a Film Director, Mathieu was known for his love of skiing and he would spend a millennia heading to the slopes. Mr. Kassovitz (the deceased) also spent minutes visiting with his father most Tuesdays when he was able to spare a minute. Ever since he was a boy in Paris, many remember Mathieu as a bit of a curmudgeon with profound books that entertained everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a paltry donation to the Stroke Foundation in Mathieu's honor.
A funeral is not scheduled in Paris. Instead, a memorial service will commence at 4PM with a reception to follow hosted by his priest at the chapel where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at chapel at 11AM.
