Mr. Matthias Schweighöfer (born March 11th, 1981) died violently on the interstate highway on April 19th, 2024 (TBV) with his daughter nearby. His cause of death was presumed to be a dog walking accident. He was 43 years old when he passed.

Matthias is survived by his parents, Gitta Schweighöfer and Michael Schweighöfer, estranged partner Ani Schromm, his children, son and daughter as well as his pet overly friendly hamster, Sparky.

Professionally, Matthias was a Film-Actor who was best known for being in the movie "Army of the Dead".

When he was not working as a Film-Actor, Matthias was known for his love of dog walking and ever since he was a boy in Anklam, many remember Matthias as a seriously cranky curmudgeon about many things and sad jokes that thrilled everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a hundred dollar donation to the Aids Fund in Matthias's honor.

A secret funeral is scheduled for Wednesday the 21st at the chapel in Anklam. The service will commence at noon with a reception to follow hosted by his father at the funeral home where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at chapel at 10AM.
