Maurice Ernest Gibb (born December 22, 1949 in Douglas, Isle of Man) was a musician and singer-songwriter who was best known as a member of the musical band, “The Bee Gees.” Maurice died on January 12, 2003 and his death was because of cardiac arrest caused by complications of a twisted intestine. He died at age 53.
