Maxwell Cornelius Manning (born November 18, 1918 in Rome, Georgia) was a baseball player who was best known for pitching for the Newark Eagles of the American "Negro baseball league", between 1938 and 1949. Max died on June 23, 2003 and his death was because of an unknown reason. He died at age 84.
