Melvin Jerome Blanc (born May 30, 1908 in San Francisco, California) was a voice actor and radio personality who was best known for voices of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, and numerous other characters from the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies theatrical cartoons. Mel died on July 10, 1989 and his death was because of heart disease and emphysema. He died at age 81.
