Carlotta Mercedes Agnes McCambridge (born March 16, 1916 in Joliet, Illinois) was a film actress, stage actress, and TV actress who was best known for her role as Sadie Burke in the 1949 dram film, “All the King’s Man.” Mercedes died on March 2, 2004 and her death was possibly because of natural causes. She died at age 87 just two weeks before her 88th birthday.
