Merlin Santana (born March 14, 1976 in Manhattan, New York) was a TV actor and rapper who was best known for his role as Stanley in the 1984 -1992 sitcom, “The Cosby Show” and for his role as Romeo Santana in the 1996-2002 sitcom, “The Steve Harvey Show.” Merlin died on November 9, 2002 and his death was reportedly because he was shot and killed while sitting in his car. He died at the youthful age of 26.
