Merv Griffin (born on July 6th, 1925) was an TV-Personality who was best known for hosting of his own TV talk show, The Merv Griffin Show, and created the long-running game shows Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune. Merv Griffin died on August 12th, 2007. Merv's death was due to prostate cancer which he battled for several years.
