Michael George Smith (born December 6, 1943 in Edmonton, London) was a singer-songwriter and music producer who was best known for being the lead vocalist and keyboard player for the 1960’s band, “Dave Clark Five.” Mike died on February 28, 2008 and his death was because of pneumonia. He died altogether too soon at age 64.
