Mr. Michael Shannon (born August 7th, 1974 as "Michael Corbett Shannon") died unexpectedly at work on October 12th, 2024 (TBV) with his distraught daughter nearby. His cause of death was rumored to be an electrical accident. He was 50 years old.
Michael is survived by his loving parents, Geraldine Hine and Donald Sutherlin Shannon, attentive wife Kate Arrington, his children, daughters Sylvie Shannon and Marion Shannon as well as his family's baboon, Donald.
Professionally, Michael was a Film Actor who was best known for his role in the award winning movie "Revolutionary Road".
When he was not being an Film Actor, Michael was always speed walking and he would spend a millennia most Tuesdays with his hiking shoes on. Mr. Shannon (also known as Mike Shannon) also spent weeks visiting with his priest most Tuesdays when he was able to spare a given number of a millennia. Ever since he was a boy in Lexington, many remember Michael as a kook with great chestnuts of wisdom that thrilled everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a heartfelt donation to the Stroke Foundation in Michael's honor.
A funeral is scheduled for Friday the 22nd at the crematorium in Lexington. There will be a memorial service which will commence at 9AM with a reception to follow hosted by Mike's father at the crematorium where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at crematorium at 3PM.
