Mickey Gilley (born March 9th, 1936 in Natchez, Mississippi) was a Singer-Songwriter who was best known for country music and pop. He was also famously a cousin of Jerry Lee Lewis and Jimmy Swaggart. Mickey's fame was enhanced due to his nightclub, dubbed the "world's biggest honky tonk" in Pasadena, Texas. According to Facebook, Mickey died on May 7th, 2022 and his death was because of a brief illness (reportedly cancer - his death was not a hoax). He was 86 when he passed.
