Michael Jonas Evans (born November 3, 1949 in Salisbury, North Carolina) was a TV actor who was best known for his role as Lionel Jefferson in 1970’s sitcom’s, “All in the Family” and “The Jeffersons.” Mike died on December 14, 2006 and his death was because of throat cancer. He died too soon at age 57.
