Minnie Pearl (born October 25, 1912 in Centerville, Tennessee) was a comedian and TV actress who was best known for her work and on the American country music TV show, “Hee Haw.” She also appeared on Grand Ole Opry from 1940 till 1991. Minnie died on March 4, 1996 and her death was because of complications from a stroke. She died at age 83.
