Natalie Cole

Ms. Natalie Cole (born February 6th, 1950 as "Natalie Maria Cole") died in her home on December 31st, 2015 with her son nearby. Her cause of death was presumed to be congestive heart failure. She was 65 years old when she passed away.

Natalie is survived by her parents, Jan Cole and Nat King Cole, ex husband Kenneth H. Dupree, her only child, son Robert Adam "Robbie" Yancy, her siblings, brother Nat "Kelly" Cole, sisters Carole "Cookie" Cole, Timolin Cole and Casey Cole as well as her hedgehog, Chester.

Professionally, Natalie was a Singer-Songwriter who was best known for her R&B hit "This Will Be".

When she was not working as a Singer-Songwriter, Natalie was known for her love of gardening and she would spend minutes most Fridays polishing it. Ms. Cole (also known as Nat) also spent weeks visiting with her priest most Mondays when she was able to spare a smattering of minutes. Ever since she was a girl in Los Angeles, many remember Natalie as a caring person with funny tales that thrilled everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a hundred dollar donation to the Stroke Foundation in Natalie's honor.

A funeral is scheduled for month the 18th at the chapel in Los Angeles with a reception to follow hosted by her daughter at the cemetery where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at chapel at noon.
