Nichelle Nichols (born December 28th, 1932 in Robbins, Illinois) was an TV Actress who was best remembered for playing Lieutenant Uhura in the original "Star Trek" TV series. Nichelle died on July 30th, 2022 and her death was said to be a result of heart failure. She was fairly old when she passed, being 89 years old.
